Change selected colors
Keywords: Color modification, tutorial, element, free, photoshop
Has a great photo taken at sunset created an orange cast on your face? Was there a colored spotlight in the room? Whatever the reason may be, here's a simple way to easily modify colors, without affecting the entire image.

1. >Select>Color Range... and pick the color you want to modify. The "fuzziness" level will increase or decrease the range of your selection (For this example I picked the orange color in the hair). You can add colors or tones by holding SHIFT while clicking.

2. Use Hue/Saturation (CTRL+U) to modify the selected color. You can alter only specific colors by choosing it in the "edit" menu. (For this example only had to reduce the saturation on the Yellow channel)

Autumn Colors
Using this trick you change a summer scene into fall very easily.
1 Open your summer image.

2. Fade the greens using the Hue/Saturation.

You might want to reduce the Saturation a bit.

3. Select the Light Greens (using >Select>Color Range).

4. Create a new Layer and paint a mixture of yellows and oranges.

5. Adjust the color balance to taste.

Voilà!
